The question of the week... well OK... the season... is WHAT'S UP WITH THE MAJOR FIELD SCOREBOARD?  That is an excellent question that we have been trying to answer for three weeks.  We have located a dad with expertise in this area and he's trying to isolate the problem which appears to be something inside the scoreboard itself.  Please hang in there as our volunteers do their best to return the aging beast to it's former greatness.  We even tested the theory that if a home run whacked it hard enough, it would spring to life.  The Yankees held up their end of that deal, but sadly, the scoreboard did not respond. 

When it's fixed you will all be required to participate in "The Wave" every Saturday to appease the scoreboard Gods and prevent a recurrence of the Scoreboard Plague.  :-)
