Knights –
Please let me know if you have any questions, hopefully everyone is satisfied with how the monies have been handled to try and help support the boys and their overall baseball development.
Thank you to Cathy for maintaining accurate records for us all year to help me keep this all in order and presentable to you.
2012 Recap -
Our 2012 books are now closed and we were pretty close to our plan, we fell short a little on the Corporate Sponsorship piece, hopefully we can do a little better in this area in 2013, we will need your help!
Our earnings from SKV8 were $7506 which was a great number, thank again for all the support with the tournament as well, again, it was once again something we could be proud of.
On the expense side we were close too, had a couple things come up that we did not expect, and shaved in a few areas to pay for those extras.
2013 Plan -
We are off to a good start in 2013, we just sent our deposit into Cooperstown and that is exciting to look forward to.
We already have some sponsorship monies for 2013! We’ve also paid our deposit for BLE.
On the major travel front for 2013, we are planning to travel to Bend, OR for the Memorial Day weekend to play in the Triple Crown event.
We are also planning on travelling to the Triple Crown 11u World Series in Steamboat Springs, CO. we expect this trip to be right after SK9, about 8/1.
The trip to Colorado will conclude our 2013 campaign. It will be nice having our biggest event be at the end in 2013, it should give the boy’s something to work for to the end!!
We will firm up the specific dates on the calendar as they become available.
Please keep in mind that the annual player fee of $250 will be due on/about November 1st.
See you all at practice Friday. Feel free to attend the Knights meeting on Sunday night at the library at 700pm after the game if you are able. It’s not mandatory, but good to keep in touch with the happenings with the teams.
