Coaching Update

Posted by Bill Musal on Jul 25 2012 at 05:00PM PDT
Brunswick Hockey Club is starting it's 4th year and we are growing bigger and better.  Our club would not be what it is today without the work and dedication of so many parents and coaches that are making this dream a reality.  Our special thanks go out to Mr. & Mrs. Musal, Kathy Busch, Dan Cellura and of course our coaches Tom Liegl and Adam Busch.  We have a lot of great things in the works for the 2012-2013 season and many changes to discuss.  It is with great joy and sadness that we announce Coach Tom Liegl has stepped down as Head coach to persue his dream of becoming a Life Flight Medic.  Tom recently finished his schooling and was looking forward to starting a postion with Metro Hospital on their Life Flight Medic team when he was accepted to the Life Flight Academy, which is a very high honor and we are so very proud and happy for him.  However, this schooling, being a Husband and Dad will not allow Tom to fulfill a full time coaching position with BHC.  Tom will remain working with the club in a limited capacity -- for BHC wouldn't be the club we are without Tom.  Please join with us to wish Tom the very best success in his journey to achieve his dream and thank him for all the contributions he has made to BHC and will continue to.   Way to go Tom!!!
We are very happy to announce that Coach Adam Busch has agreed to fill the spot of Head Coach. Coach Adam has selected two assistants and the board approved with full support. So we'd like to welcome Kevin Provaznik and Mike Crosher.  Kevin and Mike have impressive resumes of hockey knowledge, skill and discipline.  We are very excited at the outlook for this season.  If last weeks practice has any indication it will be a great year!!!   Please join us in thanking and congratulating Coach Adam, Coach Kevin and Coach Mike.
Respectfully,
The BHC Interim Board
