9U Baseball

11U 9 CV Athletics 8 

The 11U team took 3rd place in the Mothers Day Tourney at Rainbow Fields.  Their second game against the CV Athletics was an exciting one.  After falling behind 5-0 at the end of the first inning the Cyclones answered back in the second inning with 8 hits scoring 8 runs.  In the last inning with the score 9-8 Cyclones and the Athletics at bat, the tying run was on third.  The next batter hit a line drive back at our pitcher which he caught and then threw the runner out at third base for a double play.  The next batter walked, and they were able to pick him off for the win.  The Athletics only registered 3 hits for the game to our 11. Good job boys!
