Travel Team Tryouts

2015-2016 TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUTS


The STHA will be holding tryouts for the 2015-2016 Mite thru 18U Travel Teams at the Chenango Ice Rink on April 11th and April 18th.

   All STHA registered players in good standing are invited to tryout for the Travel Team in their particular age group.  To be in good standing, the player, and any family members, must have met all previous financial obligations to the STHA including the return of travel jerseys.  The fee for tryout participation will be $20 (flat fee covers one or both days).
 
Saturday, April 11th
Bantam        8:00am
Mite              9:15am
18U              10:30am
Squirt          12:00pm
16U              1:30pm
PeeWee       3:00pm
 
Saturday, April 18th
18U              8:00am (no change)
Mite              9:15am (no change)
16U             10:30am (start time is not changed, but duration is shortened to 1 hour)
Squirt         11:45pm (new start time)
Bantam        1:15pm (new start time)
PeeWee        3:00pm (no change)   
 

  Each player must attend at least one try out session to be eligible for selection to a travel team.  If a player cannot attend at least one session send an email to both Roy Wagner (mwagner6@stny.rr.com)  or Al Gorick (tigerg30@aol.com) no later than April 11th.

PRINCE ELITE HOCKEY BEACH TOURNAMENT

PRINCE ELITE HOCKEY BEACH TOURNAMENT

 

Prince Elite Hockey Tournament will be hosting a beach tournament on Saturday, July 18th on Lake Ontario Beach to benefit 10-year old Patrick Carr and his battle with cancer. It’s a co-ed tournament open to all ages 9 to Adult.

APPLICATIONS FOR 2015-2016 TRAVEL TEAM HEAD COACHES FOR 16U AND MIDGET NON-STATE BOUND ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED!!

Anyone interested in being considered for a Travel Team Head Coach position for 16U and Midget Non-State Bound for the 2015-2016 season must submit a completed Coaching Application and a Letter of Intent to the VP of Travel (Roy Wagner) no later than April 7, 2015. Please refer to the STHA Travel Policy for additional details such as suggested Letter of Intent content, the coaches selection process and timeline of events.
