MANDATORY PARENT EDUCATION CLASSES

Notice:  For parents and coaches of the STHA, the schedule of the Parent Education Classes for the last four sessions being offered is below.  Those players whose parent(s) have not attended a previous session and do not attend one of the below sessions will not be allowed on the ice after 11/29/15, so please make sure to attend if you have not already.

Each member of a NYSHA affiliated organization is mandated to participate in Parent Education each year.  Only a single family member must attend the class.   This training is mandatory and if training is not completed through one of the training classes listed below then that member will not be allowed to participate in the STHA.

This year the STHA, the Blizzard and High School Hockey Organizations have decided to work together on helping their members receive this training.   A member may take Parent Education from any of these organization’s training sessions to receive credit across all three.

The following are the dates and times for Parent Education classes held by the respective organizations.  Classes are about 15 minutes in duration.
