CONGRATULATIONS MITE B BINGHAMTON JR SENATORS! |
The Binghamton Jr. Senators Mite B team won the White Division championship in the inaugural Griffin's Guardians Tournament, held November 7th-8th, 2015, in Cicero NY. The Jr. Sens defeated the Camillus Cougars 18-2 to take the title. Griffin's Guardians is a charity that raises awareness and money to help fight pediatric cancer , and assists families in Central NY who are dealing with the disease. Griffin was a very courageous 7 year old who loved hockey, and he never let his battle with cancer defeat him. During the tournament the Mite B team voted to present Griffin's mom with a donation from their team funds that were raised through their golf tournament this summer, to help honor his memory and assist Griffin's Guardians in all they do. Congratulations on a fantastic tournment.
