2014 18U FW Knights

The Federal Way Knights 12U team took 1st Place in the 2009 USSSA State Tournament played in Lacey, WA over Father's Day weekend.  After poor performance in pool play on Saturday, the Knights found themselves as the bottom seed entering tournament play on Sunday.  Putting their poor performance behind them, they came ready to play hard on Sunday going undefeated against three very good opponents - Puyallup Rock, Puyallup Bombers and Black Hills All Stars.   In tournament play, the Knights outscored their opponents 22-6 and racked up 30 hits, and the combined pitching from Markus M., Garrett W., Taylor D., Ben A. and Caleb W. allowed only 10 hits.
