11 MUSTANGS ran in the Children's Race on Jan. 6th. The MUSTANGS swept the Under 10 crowns, with Michelle Smith winning the girls U10 in 3:17 and Rafael Jackson winning the U10 boys in 2:47. In the U14 girls Stefanie Matthew finished in 2nd in 2:25 and Mikaela Smith received the bronze medal in a time of 2:30. In the U14 boys Rodney Griffin received a bronze medal with a time of 2:21. 

Results for the MUSTANGS in the race were:

U14 girls: 2nd. Stefanie Matthew - 2:25; 3rd. Mikaela Smith - 2:30; 4th. Annika Benders - 2:45; 6th. Yudelka Acevedo - 2:51

U14 boys: 3rd. Rodney Griffin - 2:21; 4th. Sevon Washington - 2:25; 5th. Valence Modeste - 2:26; 6th. Kevin Dascent - 2:48. 

U10 girls: 1st. Michelle Smith - 3:17

U10 boys: 1st. Rafael Jackson - 2:47; 7th. Dequan Defrenas - 6:05

The Mustangs came out in full force on Dec. 17, 2011 for the All Comers Track and Field Meet held at Complex. This Meet started of the 2012 season. Next meet will be on Jan. 14 also at Complex.

Several MUSTANGS competed in the Virgin Islands Cross Country Championship. A special congratulations goes out the following MUSTANG Champions: Michelle Smith 1st place girls Under 10; Mikaela Smith 1st place girls Under 14; Rodney Griffin 1st place boys Under 14; Britney Sage 1st place girls Under 16; Malique Smith 1st place boys Under 16.

Ninfa Barnard finished in 1st place in the SouthWestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Cross Country Championship, while running a personal best time of 18:11 in the 5K. Ninfa is a junior at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff on a full track and field scholarship.
