All-American Ben Willeford is set to begin a new era in his wrestling career. Coach Ben Stehura at Cleveland State saw enough in Ben to offer him a scholarship. After taking a visit there Ben came back excited about the prospect of wrestling at a Division 1 school. He said it felt familiar and he wanted to be part of the resurgence of Viking wrestling. Miles Greenblatt took a completely differnet path to college. Miles had aspirations of playing football at the next level. After a runner-up finish at the LHSAA State Tournament Miles contemplated the idea of wrestling at the next level. He found that opportunity at Concordia University Wisconsin. Coach Bret Corner invited Miles up to the Division 3 school. Miles is excited about his opportunity and was settling into his dorm when I talked to him.
The Warrior Nation is proud of these guys and can't wait to see what they will accomplish in years to come. I know that they will work hard to get better everyday.
