* Ithaca 3, Elmira Free Academy 0: Ben Bouvet-Bosclair and Andrew Troisi each had a goal and an assist for Ithaca (8-2-1) in a shutout of Elmira Free Academy.
Brian Poppleton had seven saves in the loss for the Blue Devils (5-6-1).
"This was probably our most well-played game of the season," said Ithaca head coach Jeff DuMont.
Said EFA coach Derek Hamilton: "Ithaca is a very good team and when you make mistakes against good teams, it usually costs you."

* EFA 1, Binghamton 0 (OT): Nick Lian scored off an assist from Frankie Mannino with six minutes left in the second overtime to lift Elmira Free Academy past Binghamton in STAC action.

Lian stole a crossing pass and placed a shot which glanced off Binghamton goalie Sam Guy and into the net for the winning goal.
EFA Boys Tie Horseheads; Stay Atop STAC West
Elmira Free Academy retained a slim lead in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference West boys soccer standings as the Blue Devils played Horseheads to a 1-1 tie in overtime Monday.
"It was physical both ways and both teams had chances to win on overtime, but the goalkeepers made some big stops," EFA coach Derek Hamilton said. "Horseheads is coming on. Their young players are getting better every game, but we've still got a one-point lead in the standings."
For EFA (4-5-1), Frankie Mannino scored his ninth goal of the season. The Blue Devils defense has given up just one goal in nine of their 10 games, and four of the team's five losses were 1-0, including to Class AA state No. 1 Vestal.
Eric Burdette got the goal for Horseheads.
