FOUR EFA Seniors Named to the STAC Senior All-Star Game
Four Elmira Free Academy boys varsity soccer team members have been named to the Southern Tier Athletic Conference Senior Showcase for the 2007 season.
Captains Bobby McGinnis, Joey Burin, Kevyn Rustici, and Mike Chrabaszcz will represent Elmira Free Academy, as well as STAC West, in the STAC Senior Showcase on Sunday, November 4th, at 12:00 pm, @ Union-Endicott High School in Endicott, New York.
McGinnis is a three year starter for the Blue Devils as has posted 16 career shutouts including eight this season. Bobby was named to All-STAC West team last season as a junior.
Burin has tallied an incredible 35 points this season on 10 goals and 15 assists. His tremendous ball skills are often the catalyst to the Blue Devils offense through the midfield as he leads the team in assists.
Rustici has posted 37 points this season on 13 goals and 11 assists. Kevyn currently leads EFA in goals scored, but has proven himself to be extremely unselfish as well.
Chrabaszcz contibuted to EFA's eight shutouts this season as an aggressive centerback. His prowness for getting forward from a defensive position has rewarded him with three goals on the season as well. Mike was named to the All-STAC West team last season as a junior.
