Ross Holden scored on a free kick with about 20 minutes left in the game to lift Elmira Free Academy past Union-Endicott.
After EFA drew a foul, Ross bent his shot from about 20 yards away around the defending wall and bounced it in from the upper corner of the net.
"It's one of the greatest shots I've ever seen," EFA coach Derek Hamilton said.
Junior Luke Ford turned away three shots for his third shutout this season. Hamilton said the school record for most shutouts in a single season is 15; eight since the STAC merger.
EFA goals-assists: Ross Holden 1-0.
Goalie saves: Luke Ford (EFA) 3; Alex Arbes (UE) 9.
Shots-corners: EFA 10-10; U-E 3-4.
Records: EFA 3-1; U-E 2-2.
