FIVE Academy Boys Named To Post-Season Teams!!

Three Corning players were selected to the Southern Tier Athletic Conference Metro/West All-Conference boys soccer team.
Seniors Nick Jakobson and Andrew Ortiz were named at forward and defense, respectively. Junior Sam Schirmer made the team as a midfielder.
Other all-conference picks were senior forward Shawn Dominikoski and junior defender Eric Garrison from Horseheads, and senior midfielder Ross Holden from Elmira Free Academy.
Meanwhile, 13 players were placed on the STAC West All-Division.
Representing EFA were junior defenders Nick Lian and Kevin Kucharski, along with senior Denzel Harris and freshman Alex Varkatzas at forward.
From Horseheads are sophomore goalkeeper Ian Boor, senior defender Taylor Sisson, senior Neal-Dawson Elli and sophomore Hunter Kaysa at midfield, and senior Ian Hatlee at forward.
The Corning all-division picks are senior defender Caleb Noel, senior Anthony Pavlick and junior Zach Dann at midfield, and junior forward Julian LaDelia.
