Nick Lian scored two goals, including one on a bicycle kick, to lead Elmira Free Academy past Southside 6-1 in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference boys soccer game Tuesday.
On the bicycle kick, the ball was deflected and went up in the air. Lian had his back to the goal and lifted his foot over his head and knocked the ball past the diving Southside goalie.
"It was one of the best goals I've ever seen," EFA coach Derek Hamilton said.
Ross Holden added a goal and two assists for EFA, and Charlie Anderson, Matt Praino and Brian Theetge each had a goal.
EFA goalie Brian Poppleton made nine saves, including one on a penalty shot.
Josh Batten scored for Southside.
