WCHS Bowling Teams

The WC Boys notched their first 27-0 sweep of the year, and the Girls nearly matched them at 26-1, in our away match vs. Glencliff HS.  With only 9 boys & 7 girls in attendance, we had our fewest players available at a match in many years.  But not to worry, as the young Glencliff players were no match for our experienced bowlers. 

The Wildcats were led by Kyle Hubbuch, who nearly got his first 700 of the season with a nice 698 on games of 258, 203, & 237.  Great bowling, Kyle!  Our guys got off to another hot first game, rolling a season-high 1328 to start.  The boys also finished with their top series of the young season, a 3643.  Other good scores were:  Eric Lane stayed hot with a 247-646; John Petty with a nice 235 & 621 total; and Sr. Brett Miler had a 224 in game 1.  Nice bowling, Wildcats!  Boys move to 4-0 on the year.

The LadyCats didn't have a lot of good scores, but their total was still nearly double the Glencliff girls series.  Nicole Bailey leads the way again, with her season-highs of 210 & 543.  Nice set, Nicole!  LadyCats now 3-0 on the season.
