The Shockwave 11U baseball team placed first during the Summer Slam tournament held the weekend of May 15 at Park West in Mount Pleasant. The team went 4-0 during the two-day tournament to capture its second tournament championship and qualify to play in the world-series event to be held the end of July in Summerville. Team members are (l to r, front) Jack Bahen, Dedrick Spence, Zach Horton, Desmond Spence, Ryan Burns, Austin Wyndham (middle) Parker Bass, Chandler Farrell, Tyler Crouse, Kyle Austin, Chandler Polk, (back) coach Tony Spence, coach Brad Horton and coach Byron Bass.
