Southpaw joins the Chiefs pitching staff for the 2010 season.....Was a huge part of the Cassell Club rotation in 2006 and 2008.,,,,,In 2007, he pitched professionally for the Namur Angels in Belguim where he posted a 7-7 record with an ERA of 1.68 in 118 innings......Went 7-1 overall for Cassell in 2006 throwing 65.2 innings while striking out 56......Returned to the Intercity League in 2008 and posted a 5-1 record, which included a complete game shutout of the Chiefs on June 26....As a senior at Brandeis University in 2006, Tim went 10-3 for Judges, capping an outstanding collegiate career....He was fifth in the ICL’s MVP award balloting and finished second behind Lexington’s Bill Cooke in the Outstanding Pitcher category when the Cassell Club won the ICL title in 2006.....Resides in Cambridge, MA......  image

This spring he led the Warriors with 80.2 innings pitched ...Struck out 71 batters (7th in NE-10) while holding the opposition to a .209 batting average (10th in NE-10) and recorded a 4-4 record, including a Northeast-10 Championship 4-0 complete game win over New Haven on May 7, allowing just two hits and striking out eight ... Had a season-high 12 strikeouts against New Haven on April 18 in a complete game effort... Pitched four complete games while finishing the season with a 2.01 ERA, good for 7th in the NE-10... A finalist for the Merrimack Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year. ...Son of Mike and Kim Ellis of Gloucester, MA, he graduated from Merrimack in 2010.... image
