(Melrose, MA) Mike Nestor allowed just one hit over 6.1 innings to lead the Melrose Americans to a 3-1 win over the Chiefs at Morelli Field on Wednesday night.
John Jennings drove in all three of the runs.
Nestor struck out nine before giving way to Nick Colucci who picked up the save in the seventh.
Shai Cohen (0-1) took the loss.
