(Malden, MA) Gabe Van Emon (2-0) struck out nine and allowed just two hits in five innings when the Reading Bulldogs edged the Chiefs 3-2 at Maplewood on Monday night.
Van Emon outdueled the Chiefs’ Josh Desai (pictured) who didn’t allow an earned run and also struck out nine in his six innings.Graham Seed had a double and two hits for Reading while Andrew Caulfield and Ryan Noone drove in the Chiefs’ runs.
The Chiefs are off until Thursday when they visit the Reading Bulldogs in Lexington at 7:00 PM.
