Overnight Rains Cause Sunday's Chiefs at Reading Game to be Postponed

Reading, MA- Overnight rains resulting in a wet playing surface caused the postponement of Sunday's Chiefs at Reading Bulldogs game scheduled for Morton Field.Bulldog management made the decision to call the game off after inspecting the field shortly before 10:00 AM. The Chiefs have a scheduled off day on Monday and return to Huskins Field at Tufts University to host the Testa Corp. Bombers of East Boston on Tuesday at 6:00 PM. On Wednesday the Chiefs visit the Americans at Playstead Park in a 6:00 PM start before heading to Ferullo Field in Woburn on Thursday to take on the Tanners. Their busy schedule continues on Friday when they play the expansion Arlington Trojans at Summer Street Field in Arlington at 7:00 PM.
