The Mustangs took a 2-1 series lead in a close ballgame Tuesday night. Mike Kennedy went 2-2 with a homerun and 5 rbi's to lead the Mustangs. Bill Knute also had 2 hits, a homer, and several outstanding defensive plays in left field for the Mustangs. Winning pitcher Don Cusano contributed a homerun, as well. Paul Ligouri chipped in with 2 hits and turned a great double play from second base for the Mustangs. Other Mustangs with 2 hits included: Jack McGrath, Jack Erickson (2 rbi's) and Paul Selfrige. Jim Ward caught a potential game tying homerun at the fence for the last out of the game to preserve the win for the Mustangs.

Game 4 is scheduled for Wednesday night at 7 PM.
