Dear Force Parents, As we have always said this is work in progress, each step of the way there needs to be life lessons that we want the boys to learn to make them better not only on the court but also off the court. We explained to all the boys that there is no team that goes undefeated forever. Every team loses a game but it's what they learn from it that makes them better as individuals the next time they step on the court. The boys played a great weekend tournament as they had great wins against the Saber Bulldogs and also the FOR Vipers on Saturday. In the Championship Game against the San Fernando Dragons we were flat and seemed out of our element. As we were behind the boys seemed to stress and they started to make mistakes that they normally do not make, we will look at this game and build on trying to prevent it from happening in the FOR Tournament. We will have practice on Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Mariners and on Sunday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Please be sure that the boys get plenty of rest before each practice as they will be playing plenty of defense, boxing out and running our offense, etc. We want to thank Ty and the Tanioka family for playing in the WLA Tournament we hope you had fun with us and sorry we didn't give you a Championship trophy.
