Congratulations to our boys for a great season this year. Even though the last game didn't count we will record it as a 9-1 season with three straight wins over OCO. This game showed how well we are improving, the OCO coach had planned his defense to guard Trevor and Reed by themselves. Our plans were to pound it inside to Shaq and Sunny, we came pretty close as Shaq and Sammy had 10 points each and Sunny had four. As we continue to improve all of our players it will become very difficult to guard them all which will make it easier for our plays to work each time. The final record for our first year together was 26-5. I'm also so proud of the boys as one of my main goals was free throws and we have been working on them all year long. Well in our game yesterday we were 10 for 13 from the regulation line which is 77% and OCO was 5 for 9 or 56% from the bottom of the circle. This will hurt them in the Megalopolis tournament as they will have to shoot from the regulation line. Since our first year is over I would like to hold a team meeting after our practice this Sunday. I will end practice a few minutes earlier to go over our first year and what to expect in our second year together. Please try to have someone from each family at this meeting as we will be sharing some information that all our families will need to know.
