CHICAGO MARIST TRACK AND FIELD

 On Monday, May 19, 2008, Northside College Prep held the Mustangs Throwers Summit for athletes who did not get the opportunity to throw at IHSA Sectionals. The Discus competition took place at the Northside College Prep Discus cage, and the Shot Put competition took place at North Park University.

 In the Shot Put, Eric Nelson threw an outstanding 42'0. 

 In the Discus, Eric Nelson BROKE THE SCHOOL RECORD with a personal best throw of 125'9! It also ranked as the third best throw by a Junior in the Deerfield Sectional!!
