Four Northside Athletes qualify for Sophomore-Freshman Girls City Championships!

 On Friday, April 25, 2008, Northside Assistant Coach Jose Nebrida and Freshman Robin Doherty, Ashley Kossakowski, Caeleigh Renkosiak, and Lyndsey Shallberg traveled to Hanson Stadium for the CPS Sophomore-Freshman Girls Qualifying meet.

 In the Shot Put, Freshman Caeleigh Renkosiak QUALIFIED for City Championships with a personal best throw of 26'7. Freshman Lyndsey Shallberg QUALIFIED for City Championships with a personal best throw of 20'9.50.

 In the Discus, Freshman Ashley Kossakowski QUALIFIED for City Championships with a throw of 53'6.50. Freshman Caeleigh Renkosiak QUALFIED for City Championships with a throw of 51'4.

 In the High Jump, Freshman Robin Doherty QUALIFIED for City Championships with a jump of 4'0.

 In the 100m Hurdles, Freshman Robin Doherty placed sixth overall to QUALIFY for City Championships with an outstanding time of 20.99.

 The Mustangs will leave at 1:45 pm on Friday, May 2, 2008 for the Sophomore-Freshman Girls City Championships. The following Northside Athletes qualified for the Sophomore-Freshman Girls City Championships:

1. Robin Doherty                      -           High Jump, 100m Hurdles

2. Ashley Kossakowski            -           Discus

3. Caeleigh Renkosiak              -           Shot Put, Discus

4. Lyndsey Shallberg                -           Shot Put
