Sophomore Brandon Banas, Junior Steven Kataba, Junior Philip Wdowiak, and Senior Max McCoy BREAK SCHOOL RECORD in the Indoor Medley Relay!

 The Indoor Middle Distance Medley Relay is 1,520m. The relay consists of a 400m, 160m, 160m, and an 800m. The Northside School record for the Indoor Middle Distance Medley Relay was 4:12.97.

 In the Varsity Indoor Middle Distance Medley Relay (1,520m), Evanston won it with an official time of 3:48.00. New Trier finished in second place with an official time of 3:57.25. Northside finished in THIRD place with an official time of 4:02.81 to BREAK THE SCHOOL RECORD by 10 seconds! Morgan Park finished in fourth place with an official time of 4:53.56.

 On the first leg of the Varsity Indoor Middle Distance Medley Relay, Northside Sophomore Brandon Banas ran a 57.32 400m split, and made a nice exchange to Steven Kataba. On the second leg of the relay, Northside Junior Steven Kataba ran a 19.93 160m split, and made a perfect exchange to Philip Wdowiak. On the third leg of the relay, Northside Junior Philip Wdowiak ran a 20.07 160m split, and made a good exchange to Max McCoy. Northside Senior Max McCoy anchored Northside to THIRD place with a 2:24.99 800m split for an official time of 4:02.81. Brandon Banas, Steven Kataba, Philip Wdowiak, and Max McCoy will receive Watermelons and be honored in practice on monday for breaking the school record in the Indoor Middle Distance Medley Relay!

 In the Varsity 4x400m Relay, Northside ran out of athletes, and had to scratch the event. New Trier won it with an official time of 3:44.81. Evanston finished in second place with an official time of 3:45.57. Morgan Park finished in third place with an official time of 3:44.36. Schaumburg finished in fourth place with an official time of 3:55.94.

 Evanston won the meet with 136 points. New Trier finished in second place with 131 points. Morgan Park finished in third place with 97 points. Schaumburg finished in fourth place with 86 points. Northside finished in fifth place with 64 points. Waukegan finished in sixth place with 30 points. Julian finished in seventh place with 0 points.

 After two meets, the Northside Varsity men have a record of 10-5.
