Sergio Soto anchors Northside Sophomore 4x800m Relay past Lane Tech to QUALIFY for City Finals!

On Saturday, May 3, 2014, the Northside Sophomore Boys Track & Field Team traveled to Hanson Stadium in Chicago, Illinois for the Sophomore PRELIMS for the Chicago Public League Championships!
The Northside Mustangs qualified NINE athletes for the finals, in 5 events, including the 3200m run (2), 4x800m Relay (8), 110m Hurdles (1), 1600m Run (1), and Long Jump (1).
Qualifiers for the CPS Sophomore Track & Field FINALS on FRIDAY Include:
1. Garret Barch - Long Jump and 110m Hurdles
2. Sarrin Chethik - 1600m and 4x800m Relay
3. Kyle Friedler - 3200m and 4x800m Relay
4. Max Guthmann - 4x800m Relay
5. Brian McManus - 3200m and 4x4800m Relay
6. Alex Ortiz - 4x800m Relay
7. Sergio Soto - 4x800m Relay
8. Gabe Stacey - 4x800m Relay
9. Jack Webster - 4x800m Relay
