Marcus Zinke, Seth Karall, and Jack Vasilopoulos Top 3 Freshman in the Varsity 1600m at the Eric Nelson Classic

In the Danny Rosen 1600m run at the Eric Nelson Classic, the fastest three Freshman in the Varsity 1600m run were Marcus Zinke, Seth Karall, and Jack Vasilopoulos. Northside Freshman Marcus Zinke ran a personal best time of 5:24.00 to win heat #2, and finish 16th overall. Marcus Zinke was the fastest Freshman in the meet. Chicago Bulls College Prep Sophomore Kalex Ballog finished in 17th place with an official time of 5:30.56.

 Northside Freshman Seth Karall dropped 13.45 seconds (5:44.30) to finish 18th overall with a PERSONAL BEST time of 5:30.85. Northside Freshman Jack Vasilopoulos dropped 5.76 seconds (5:39.00) to finish 19th overall with a PERSONAL BEST time of 5:33.24.

 Chicago Bulls Prep Junior Dilan Aguilar finished in 20th place overall with an official time of 5:38.73. Chicago Bulls Prep Sophomore Anythony Lopez finished in 21st place with an official time of 5:38.81. Chicago Bulls Prep Sophomore Emmanuel Villasenor finished in 22nd place with an official time of 5:40.99. Amundsen Junior Adeel Igbal finished in 23rd place with an official time of 5:46.83. Amundsen Senior Carlos Bernal finished in 24th place with an official time of 5:51.71. Lincoln Park Freshman Sean Collier finished in 25th place with an official time of 5:56.60. Von Steuben Junior Alvar Johnannson finished in 26th place with an offciail time of 5:57.40. Amundsen Freshman Yonas Gebregziabher finished in 28th place with an official time of 5:59.40. Intrinsic Junior Freddy Ortiz finished in 29th place with an official time of 6:14.37. Intrinsic Sophomore Angel Quevedo finished in 30th place with an official time of 6:22.42. Intrinsic Sophomore Rafael Quevedo finished in 31st place with an official time of 6:58.57. Chicago Christ the King Sophomore Andre Willis finished in 32nd place with an official time of 7:05.29.
