In 2016, the Hurdles Event groups qualified multiple athletes for the IHSA State Track & Field Championships in the 110m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles. They trained 3 days a week without a hurdles coach.
Northside also finished 1-2 in the 300m Hurdles at the Chicago Public League Championships!
Northside earned ALL STATE honors in the 300m Hurdles at the IHSA State Track & Field Championships.
The school records for 110m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles were both broken at the IHSA State Track & Field Championships!
