In 2016, Northside Sprints Coach Matthew Madera qualified athletes for the IHSA State Track & Field Championships in the Men's 4x100m Relay, 100m Dash, 4x200m Relay, and 4x400m Relay.
Chicago Northside also broke school records in the Women's 4x100m Relay, Men's 4x160m Relay, and Men's 4x200m Relay.
