In the Varsity 200m Dash, Northside Junior Keith Jones won it with an official time of 23.31. Northside Senior Tom Frejowski finished in THIRD place with an official time of 23.92. Northside Junior Justin Washington ran an outstanding time of 24.29. Northside Freshman Nick Brown ran an official time of 26.50. Northside Sophomore Khizar Nandoliya ran an official time of 27.98. Northside Freshman Mason Sotomayor ran an official time of 29.03. Northside Junior Elsadig Abdalla ran an official time of 29.53. Northside Sophomore Vladimir Andrade ran an official time of 29.87. Northside Freshman Jonathan Liu ran an official time of 32.99. Northside Junior Milos Popovic scratched from the race. Northside Junior Riley Bowling and Senior Harry Winters did not show up to the 200m dash.
In the Varsity 4x400m "A" Relay, Northside Junior Danny Rosen ran a 52.44 400m split on the first leg of the relay. Northside Senior Max McCoy ran a 58.06 400m split on the second leg of the relay. Northside Senior Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman ran a 57.36 400m split on the third leg of the relay. Northside Senior Tom Frejowski anchored Northside to FIRST place with a 54.93 400m split for an official time of 3:43.09.
In the Varsity 4x400m "B" Relay, Northside Sophomore Josh Borgwardt ran a 58.57 400m split on the first leg of the relay. Northside Sophomore Sergio Soto ran a 60.63 400m split on the second leg of the relay. Northside Sophomore Brian McManus ran a 60.72 400m split on the third leg of the relay. Northside Sophomore Alex Ortiz anchored Northside with a 60.57 400m split for an official time of 4:00.49.
The Chicago Northside Mustangs will travel to Geneva, Illinois on Saturday, April 18, 2015 to take on 11 Teams in the Mike VanDeever Invitational.
