In the Varsity Mac Melto 400m Dash at the Eric Nelson Classic, 27 athletes from 6 schools competed. Mac Melto would have been proud of the performances at the Eric Nelson Classic. Chicago Leo Junior David Frye won it with an official time of 53.11. Chicago Bulls Senior Charles Billingsley finished in second place with an official time of 53.12. Northside Junior Philip Wdowiak dropped 3.38 seconds (57.87) to finish in THIRD place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 54.49. Philip Wdowiak will be awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Von Steuben Senior William Huckabee finished in fourth place with an official time of 54.73. Northside Senior Porter Abbey finished in fifth place with an official time of 55.98. Ogden Freshman Carson Hodges finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 56.72. Northside Senior Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman finished in seventh place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 56.75. Northside Sophomore Josh Borgwardt dropped 2.94 seconds (60.56) to finish in tenth place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 57.62.
