Brendan Powers clears 7'6 in Pole Vault! Matt Osborne and Porter Abbey finish 1-2 in Triple Jump! Abbey THIRD in Long Jump with a jump of 19'3!

 In the Varsity Pole Vault, Highland Park's Eddie Smoliak came into the competition at 13'0, and cleared it on his first attempt. The bar was then raised to 14'0, and Smoliak clearied it on his first attempt. The bar was then raised to 14'8. Eddie Smoliak cleared 14'8 on his third attempt to WIN the competition! Smoliak then attempted 15'1, and made three outstanding attempts, but was unable to clear it. Glenbrook North's Dan Russell cleared 10'6 to finished in SECOND place. Highland Park's Knapp finished in third place with a vault of 10'0. Glenbrook North's Nick Deulfer finished in fourth place with a vault of 10'0. Highland Park's Scherscher finished in fifth place to complete the scoring with a vault of 8'6. Northside Junior Brendan Powers cleared 7'0 on his first attempt in the competition. Powers then cleared 7'6 on his second attempt in the competition. Powers then made three outstanding attempts at 8'0, but was unable to clear it.

 In the Varsity Long Jump, Glenbrook North's Papper won it with a jump of 20'1. Glenbrook North's Hayes finished in second place with a jump of 19'10. Northside Senior Porter Abbey finished in THIRD place with an outstanding jump of 19'3. Highland Park's Cerant finished in fourth place with a jump of 17'10. Highland Park's Moteau finished in fifth place to complete the scoring with a jump of 17'2. Northside Senior Matt Osborne jumped an outstanding 16'11. Northside Sophomore Brandon Banas jumped an outstanding 16'1.75. Northside Sophomore Brian McManus jumped an outstanding 15'5.5. Northside Sophomore Methew Geevarghese had a PERSONAL BEST jump of 14'4. Northside Sophomore Jack Nolan jumped an outstanding 12'11.50.

 In the Varsity Triple Jump, Northside Senior Matt Osborne WON the Triple Jump competition with an outstanding jump of 39'4.25. Northside Senior Porter Abbey finished in SECOND place with an incredible jump of 38'7. Glenbrook North's Carmiddle finished in third place with a jump of 38'3.5. Highland Park's Alexander Grayson finished in fourth place with a jump of 33'5. Highland Park's Kirsch finished in fifth place to complete the scoring with a jump of 32'6. Northside Sophomore Jack Nolan jumped an outstanding 28'0.50
