Sergio Soto drops 23 seconds off his best time to finish in THIRD place in the Sophomore 1000m run!! Christion Guerrero FIFTH in the 55m Hurdles!
In the Sophomore 1000m run, Northside Sophomore Sergio Soto dropped 23 seconds (3:33.35, 2014) off his best time to finish in THIRD place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 3:10.15! Sergio Soto ran the first 200m in 34 seconds, and then ran 160m splits of 30, 30, 32, 33, and then ran the final 160m in a NEGATIVE split of 31 seconds for a personal best time of 3:10.15.
Northside Sophomore Jakob Lemke ran a personal best time of 3:24.35. Jakob Lemke ran the first 200m in 36 seconds, and then ran 160m splits of 31, 34, 35, 34, and then ran the final 160m in an EVEN split of 34 seconds for a personal best time of 3:24.35.
In the Sophomore 55m High Hurdles, Northside Sophomore Christion Guerrero finished in 5th place with a personal best time of 11.00. Northside Sophomore Jack Nolan dropped 1.45 seconds (12.80) in the 55m High Hurdles to finish in 6th place to complete the scoring with a personal best time of 11.35.
