Philip Wdowiak MEDALS in the 400m Dash! Lucien Fitzpatrick and Matt Obsorne earn MEDALS in the 300m Hurdles! Rosen and Kafka earn MEDALS in the 1600m!
In the Varsity 400m Dash, Northside Sophomore Philip Wdowiak finished in fifth place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 56.97. Philip Wdowiak was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in fifth place overall.
In the Varsity 300m Hurdles, Northside Senior Lucien Fitzpatrick finished in THIRD place with an outstanding time of 43.71. Lucien Fitzpatrick was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Northside Junior Matt Osborne finished in fourth place with a season best time of 45.89. Matt Osborne was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in fourth place overall.
In the Varsity 1600m run, Northside Sophomore Danny Rosen ran the first 400m in 67 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 73 seconds for an 800m split of 2:20, and then ran the next 400m in 70 seconds for a 1200m split of 3:30, and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 68 seconds to finish in THIRD place with an official time of 4:38.00. Danny Rosen was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall.
Northside Senior Simon Kafka ran the first 400m in 67 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 74 seconds for an 800m split of 2:21, and then ran the next 400m in 74 seconds for a 1200m split of 3:35, and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 71 seconds to finish in fifth place overall with a PERSONAL BEST time of 4:46.46. Simon Kafka passed Alumni legend Patrick O'Connor on the Northside 1600m All Time list, and Patrick O'Connor was the first one to congratulate him. Simon Kafka was also awarded a MEDAL for finishing in fifth place overall.
