In the 800m run, Northside Sophomore Matthew Gomez finished in THIRD place with an outstanding time of 2:10.94. Matthew Gomez was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Matthew Gomez ran the first 400m in 62 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 68 seconds for an outstanding time of 2:10.94. Matthew Gomez ran a great race!
Northside Freshman Alex Ortiz has been running a personal record this season at every meet. Alex Ortiz ran another outstanding race on Saturday at the Fred Zedyk Invitational at Niles West High School. Alex Ortiz ran the first 400m in 68 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in an EVEN split of 68 seconds for a PERSONAL RECORD of 2:16.97. Alex Ortiz ran an awesome race!
