Northside Sophomore 4x800m Relay earns RIBBONS at Niles West!
In the Sophomore 4x800m Relay, Northside Sophomore Gabe Stacey ran the first 400m in 69 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 80 seconds for an outstanding 2:29.88 800m split, and then made a nice exchange to Freshman Brian McManus. Brian McManus ran the first 400m in 70 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 75 seconds for an outstanding 2:25.61 800m split, and then made a good exchange to Sophomore Hyun-Woo Ward. Hyun-Woo Ward ran the first 400m in 74 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 86 seconds for an 800m split of 2:40.87, and then made an exchange to Freshman Sergio Soto. Sergio Soto anchored the Mustangs to SIXTH place overall by running the first 400m in 68 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 78 seconds for a PERSONAL BEST 800m split of 2:26.52 for an official time of 10:03.29. Gabe Stacey, Brian McManus, Hyun-Woo Ward, and Sergio Soto were awarded RIBBONS for finishing in sixth place overall.
In the Sophomore 100m Dash Finals, Northside Sophomore Keith Jones finished in seventh place with an outstanding time of 12.68.
