SIMON KAFKA, MALCOLM GRBA, DANNY ROSEN, and TOM FREJOWSKI finish SECOND in the 4x400m Relay with a 3:34.84!
In the 4x400m Relay, Northside dropped four seconds (3:38.79) from the Indoor City Championships with a season best time of 3:34.84 to finish SECOND overall at the Paul Gans Invitational!
Northside Senior Simon Kafka ran a personal best 54.60 400m split on the first leg of the relay, and made a perfect exchange to Junior Malcolm Grba. Malcolm Grba ran an impressive 54.00 400m split on the second leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Sophomore Danny Rosen. Danny Rosen ran a personal best 54.07 400m split on the third leg of the relay, and made a perfect exchange to Junior Tom Frejowski. Tom Frejowski anchored the Mustangs to SECOND place with a personal best 52.17 400m split for an official time of 3:34.84.
Simon Kafka, Malcolm Grba, Danny Rosen, and Tom Frejowski were awarded MEDALS for finishing in SECOND place overall in the 4x400m Relay! The mental toughness and determination of Simon Kafka, Malcolm Grba, Danny Rosen, and Tom Frejowski was incredible. Against the wind, they dropped four seconds from their last appearance in the 4x400m Relay, and are now closing in on the school record (3:27.78).
