CHICAGO MARIST TRACK AND FIELD

 In the 1600m run, Northside Sophomore Danny Rosen won it with an official time of 4:35.94. Danny Rosen ran 400m splits of 68, 70 (2:18 800m), 72 (3:30 1200m), and then ran the final 400m, against the wind, in a NEGATIVE split of 65.94 seconds for an outstanding time of 4:35.94. Danny Rosen was awarded a MEDAL for winning the 1600m run. Rosen ran an outstanding race. 

 Northside Captain Malcolm Grba finished in fifth place to secure vital points for the Mustangs with an official time of 4:44.85. Malcolm Grba lead the race for 1200m, and helped block the wind for the field. Malcolm Grba ran 400m splits of 67, 70 (2:17 800m), 73 (3:30 1200m), and then ran the final 400m in 74 seconds for an outstanding time of 4:44.85. Malcolm Grba was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in fifth place overall.
