Freshman Alex Ortiz finishes in SECOND place in the Sophomore 800m run with a personal best time of 2:17.30!!

In the Sophomore 800m run, Oswego East Sophomore Tanner McQuality won it with an official time of 2:10.10. Northside Freshman Alex Ortiz finished in SECOND place with a personal best time of 2:17.30. Alex Ortiz DROPPED 3.08 seconds (20:20.38) from the Eric Nelson Classic. Alex Ortiz ran the first 400m in 66 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 71 seconds for a personal best time of 2:17.30. Ortiz 800m time would have also finished in the Top 5 in the Varsity division. IIT Perspectives Charter Freshman Phillips Alston finished in third place with an official time of 2:23.20. St. Viator Sophomore John Duffy finished in fourth place with an official time of 2:24.10. Montini Freshman Justin Stauder finished in fifth place with an official time of 2:32.70.
