Danny Rosen, Simon Kafka, Max McCoy, and Malcolm Grba WIN 4x800m Relay with an 8:22.95!

In the 4x800m Relay, Northside Sophomore Danny Rosen ran the first 400m in 62 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in an EVEN split of 62 seconds for an 800m split of 2:04.05, and then made a nice exchange to Senior Simon Kafka. Simon Kafka ran the first 400m in 60 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 62 seconds for an impressive 800m split of 2:02.57, and then made a nice exchange to Junior Max McCoy. Max McCoy ran the first 400m in 63 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 70 seconds for a PERSONAL BEST 800m split of 2:13.19, and then made a perfect exchange to Junior Malcolm Grba. Malcolm Grba anchored the Mustangs to FIRST PLACE by running the first 400m in 59 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 63 seconds for an 800m split of 2:02.73 for an official time of 8:22.95. Danny Rosen, Simon Kafka, Max McCoy, and Malcolm Grba were awarded Gold Medals for winning the 4x800m Relay. Oswego East finished in second place with an official time of 8:35.80. St. Viator finished in third place with an official time of 9:06.30. Christian Liberty finished in fourth place with an official time of 9:33.10. Immaculate Conception finished in fifth place with an official time of 9:53.40. IIT Perspectives Charter finished in sixth place with an official time of 9:54.00.
