Junior Malcolm Grba runs a 2:00.73 800m to earn a MEDAL at the Indoor State Championships!

In the 800m run, Northside Junior Malcolm Grba ran the first 200m in 28 seconds, and then ran the next 200m in 30 seconds for a 400m split of 58 seconds. Malcolm Grba then ran the next 200m in 31 seconds for a 600m split of 1:29. Malcolm Grba then ran the final 200m in 31.73 seconds to finish in eighth place with an outstanding time of 2:00.73. Malcolm Grba was awarded a MEDAL for placing in the top 8 in Illinois! Malcolm Grba is the first Northside athlete to earn a Medal in the 800m run at Illinois Prep Top Times!
