Danny Rosen WINS Sophomore 1600m run with a 5:04.10!! Sarrin Chethik runs personal best time of 5:40.20!
In the Sophomore 1600m run, Northside Sophomore Danny Rosen ran the first 800m in 2:30, and then cruised the final 800m in 2:34 to WIN the 1600m run with a Track personal best 1600m time of 5:04.10. A year ago, Danny Rosen ran a 5:27.40 at the Niles West Indoor Classic. Danny Rosen dropped 23 seconds in one year!
Northside Sophomore Sarrin Chethik ran an excellent race. Chethik ran the first 800m in 2:45, and then ran the final 800m in 2:55 to finish in seventh place overall with a personal best time of 5:40.20.
In the Sophomore 200m Dash, Northside Sophomore Keith Jones finished in fifth place with an official time of 27.30. Northside Sophomore Garret Barch ran a personal best time of 29.20. Northside Sophomore Naod Araya ran a personal best time of 33.20.
