Ari Perlmutter QUALIFIES for STATE in Shot Put! Henry Lothschutz finishes in THIRD place in Discus!

Individual Events and Relays were scored on the following point scale: 10-8-6-4-2-1. The top two in each event qualify for the IHSA State Championships. Medals were awarded to the Top 6 places in each event.

 In the IHSA Sectional Shot Put competition, Gordon Tech Senior Javier Ortiz won it with a throw of 45'09.00. Northside Sophomore Ari Perlmutter finished in SECOND place and QUALIFIED for the IHSA State Championships with a personal best throw of 41'01.50. Ari Perlmutter was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in second place overall. Ari Perlmutter is now within 2'03.50 (43'05) of the School Record!! Marshall Senior Rashawn McKennie finished in third place with a throw of 38'10.00. Marshall Senior Xavier Bell finished in fourth place with a throw of 36'06.50. Norridge Ridgewood Freshman Patryk Panocha finished in fifth place with a throw of 35'10.00. Urban Prep Junior Tevin Harris finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with a throw of 35'00.00. Northside Junior Henry Lothschutz finished in ninth place with a throw of 30'09.50.

 In the IHSA Sectional Discus competition, Norridge Ridgewood Senior David Krueger won it with a throw of 115'03. Gordon Tech Senior Javier Ortiz finished in second place with a throw of 108'00. Northside Junior Henry Lothschutz finished in THIRD place with a personal best throw of 103'09. Henry Lothschutz was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Norridge Freshman Patryk Panocha finished in fourth place with a throw of 100'00. Urban Prep Sophomore Grant Russell finished in fifth place with a throw of 99'05. Marshall Senior Rashawn McKennie finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with a throw of 97'08. Northside Sophomore Declan Galleher finished in 13th place with a throw of 45'05. CICS/Northtown Junior Alex Islas finished in 14th place with a throw of 41'05.
