Northside Varsity 4x200m Relay finishes in fourth! Simon Kafka runs 57.50 400m dash after the 800m run! Lucien Fitzpatrick runs 46.50 300m Hurdles!
In the Varsity 4x200m Relay, Northside Junior Jay Yu ran the first leg of the relay in a 27.57 200m split, and made a nice exchange to Senior Alex Bologna. Alex Bologna ran a 28.49 200m split, and made a good exchange to Junior Robert Szmurlo. Robert Szmurlo ran a 28.31 200m split, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Gabe Stacey. Gabe Stacey anchored the Mustangs to fourth place with a 34.82 200m split for an official time of 1:59.90. Jay Yu, Alex Bologna, Robert Szmurlo, and Gabe Stacey were awarded MEDAL for finishing in fourth place overall.
In the Varsity 400m Dash, Northside Junior Simon Kafka ran an outstanding time of 57.50 to finish in ninth place overall. Northside Senior Calvin Gang ran an official time of 63.50 to finish in tenth place overall.
In the Varsity 300m Hurdles, Grayslake North's Kevin Meyer finished in first place with an official time of 42.40. Mather's Catrell Coleson finished in second place with an official time of 42.50. Highland Park's Benji Rogin finished in third place with an official time of 43.90. Northside Junior Lucien Fitzpatrick finished in fourth place with an outstanding time of 46.50. Lucien Fitzpatrick was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in fourth place overall. Highland Park's Jake Perrella finished in fifth place with an official time of 47.30. New Trier's Valdivia Keenen finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 47.40.
