Northside Alumni Mac Melto anchors DePaul to School Record in 4x400m! 47.82 400m! Northside Alumni Wesley Laytham runs 4:28.89 Mile for Davidson!
On Sunday, February 17, 2013, at the Big East Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, in Geneva, Ohio, Northside Alumni Mac Melto earned All-Conference honors in the 400m run with a personal best time of 47.82. Melto also helped the DePaul Blue Demons break a 10 years old school record in the 4x400m relay, by anchoring DePaul to a third place finish in the conference with an official time of 3:12.23.
On February 9, 2013, at the Tiger Invitational, in Clemson, South Carolina, Northside Alumni Wesley Laytham ran a personal best 4:28.89 mile for Davidson College. Laytham also ran a 1:57.67 800m at the Hilton Garden Invitational, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on February 2, 2013.
On February 2, 2013, at the Hilltop Invitational, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Northside Alumni Charlie Mesimore, helped the Cornell Rams to a second place finish in the Distance Medley relay with an official time of 11:16.76.
