CHICAGO MARIST TRACK AND FIELD

 In the 4x800m Relay, Northside Freshman Adrian Black dropped 7 seconds for a personal best 800m split of 2:25.0 on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Senior Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith ran a 2:17.0 800m split on the second leg of the relay, and made a good exchange to Junior Raymond Siddiqi. Raymond Siddiqi ran a 2:24.0 800m split on the third leg of the relay, and made a good exchange to Sophomore Robert Szmurlo. Robert Szmurlo anchored the Mustangs to Victory with a 2:23.7 800m split for an official time of 9:29.70. Adrian Black, Joseph Smith, Raymond Siddiqi, and Robert Szmurlo were awarded gold medals for winning the 4x800m Relay.

 Taft finished in second place in the 4x800m Relay with an official time of 9:46.50. Kelvyn Park finished in third place with an official time of 9:56.57. Roosevelt finished in fourth place with an official time of 10:10.60. Urban Prep West finished in fifth place with an official time of 10:41.00. Solorio Academy finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 10:49.00.
