On Wednesday, April 15, 2009, the Northside Varsity Women, and Sophomore-Freshman Girls traveled to Deerfield High School for the Deerfield Classic. The meet featured Northside College Prep and host Deerfield High School.
Deerfield High School is one of the most friendly places, and highly competive places to compete against in the Central Suburban League. The Northside Mustangs rose up to the challenge, and had their best meet of the season, breaking the school record in the 100m Dash, and came within one second of Northside 4x800m Relay record.
