Northside Sophomore Cuitlahuac Pineda Youniss runs personal best 4:48 Mile split to anchor Mustangs to a new Distance Medley Relay School Record!

 On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Northside Freshman Charlie Mesimore, Junior Simon Vecchioni, Junior Eric Nelson, and Sophomore Cuitlahuac Pineda Youniss broke the School Record in the Distance Medley Relay with a 11:25.65. Northside Freshman Charlie Mesimore ran a 3:29.00 1200m split on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Junior Simon Vecchioni. Simon Vecchioni ran a 2:13.63 800m split on the second leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Junior Eric Nelson. Eric Nelson ran a 54.40 400m split on the third leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Sophomore Cuitlahuac Pineda Youniss. Cuitlahuac Pineda Youniss ran the first 200m in 32.97 seconds, and then ran the next 200m in 35 seconds, for a 400m split 67.97 seconds, and then ran the next 200m in 36 seconds for a 600m split of 1:43.97, and then ran the next 200m in 38 seconds for a 800m split of 2:21.97, and then ran the next 200m in 36 seconds, for a 1000m split of 2:57.97, and then ran the next 200m in 38 seconds for a 1200m split of 3:35.97, and then ran the next 200m in 37 seconds for a 1400m split of 4:12.97, and then ran the final 200m in 35.68 seconds, for a PERSONAL BEST MILE SPLIT of 4:48.62!, and a new School Record of 11:25.65!
